Membership

Membership Cost
$1000 per month per voting entity

Unlike many industry groups, PNW intends to keep membership limited to no more than 25 members. We see many trade associations that attempt to be large umbrella groups get bogged down in internal decision-making, conflicts of interest, and top-heavy organizational needs. The lack of focus in these “big tent” groups results in watered-down policy positions and a low level of actual success in changing regulations considering the amount of money being spent on the organizations. We put policy work first and try to minimize time commitment of members in favor of optional update meetings that provide insights and policy interpretation.

Our group is open exclusively to large-scale farmers, processors and manufacturers from Washington to help ensure that our interests remain in alignment internally. To date this has prevented us from having any substantive policy disagreements within our membership.

By keeping the membership small, we avoid the need for “governing bodies” to make decisions on behalf of others. Instead, every member gets an equal vote and the right to participate in any and all organizational calls and votes on policy. Our ultimate goal is to maximize ROI on membership dues.
